Artist Biography

Madison Menish is a multidisciplinary artist whose work navigates the tension between preservation and ephemerality, reflecting on themes of mortality and the lived experience of chronic illness. Through a diverse personal practice, she explores how the body and memory intersect with impermanence.

She earned her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating summa cum laude. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group shows, including two exhibitions in Lacoste, France, through SCAD, where she also served as an atelier assistant. Her pieces have been included in SCAD-curated exhibitions and permanent installations in Atlanta, and have received recognition through the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards with two Silver Keys and an Honorable Mention in Louisville, Kentucky.

In addition to her studio practice, Menish works professionally in scenic painting and sculpture. She has contributed to productions such as Lenora for Chicago Opera Theater and three sets for the 2025 Des Moines Metro Opera Festival.

She currently lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky, with her dog, Arlo.
